We are happy to announce the upcoming Chilean Conference of LCA that will be held in Santiago, from 8-10 of August 2018.

The Conference is organized by the Chilean Network of LCA (RedACV Chile) with the support of the Ibero-American Network of LCA (RICV), and the collaboration of national agencies and international organisms. We expect active participation of industry and also of private and public institutions and organizations from Chile and Latin America.

LCA and other LC tools have gained momentum in Latin America during the last decade. In Chile, this has recently been deepened even more due to the publication of a new regulation on extended producer responsibility (the REP Law) based on the LC approach, but also because Chile works towards compliance with commitments and objectives associated with global sustainability initiatives such as the UN SDG, 10YFP and the green growth strategy, among others.
With this regard, the Conference will focus on the Contribution to the Agenda of Sustainable Consumption and Production.
