ECO Platform Audit Team Member (Remote)

Overview:

We are seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join the ECO Platform Audit Team. The Audit Team plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with the ECO Platform Standards and maintaining the integrity of our ECO EPDs. As an Audit Team Member, you will be responsible for conducting initial and recurring audits, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our auditing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Audit compliance with ECO Platform Standards and Internal Guidelines. These encompass:
  • standards for procedural aspects of EPD Programme management
  • standards for the development of EPD
  • standards for EPD verification
• Compile audit reports and liaise with audited entities regarding follow-up actions
• Collaborate with ECO Platform teams to improve audit and verification processes

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, science, from a university or advanced technical college
• Good knowledge of the ECO Platform Standards (refer to “ECO Platform Standards – General Remarks” for a full list of documents)
• Expertise in LCA methods, Type III environmental declarations and familiarity with relevant standards
• Familiarity with international standards in the field of conformity assessment and management system audit, for example ISO 17021-1 and ISO 19011:2011
  Knowledge of processes and products within the sectors covered by ECO Platform’s ECO-EPDs
• Demonstrable experience of audit, review and verification, in the fields of:
  • management systems, particularly in the context of conformity assessment and /or certification services
  • quantitative environmental information
  • life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprints and/or Type III environmental declarations (EPD)
