Job description:
Reporting to the Cross-Functional Projects Department, you will define, lead, and implement Boucheron’s overall sustainable development strategy, in alignment with the Kering Group’s vision and the ambitions of the Executive Committee. As a strategic leader and ambassador for change, you will actively contribute to the company’s transformation and its exemplary positioning in the jewelry sector.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Sustainable Development Strategy
- Develop a long-term vision and an ambitious roadmap (2025/2030 and beyond).
- Incorporate emerging trends, innovations and regulatory requirements.
- Define cross-cutting action plans to reduce the environmental and social footprint.
External Representation
- To be the spokesperson for the House at events, conferences and sector-specific engagements.
- Maintain a structured dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
- Steering the House’s Philanthropy Strategy through the Boucheron Fund for Education
Initiatives Transversales
- Working with business units to integrate sustainability into all operations.
- Leading strategic projects related to responsible supply chain, traceability, and sustainable innovation.
- Support the Inclusion & Diversity committee “Precious People”.
Performance & Reporting
- Oversee data collection, KPIs, ESG indicators, and reporting (including EP&L). Ensure transparency, regulatory compliance, and data quality. Lead the publication of the annual Sustainability report.
Leadership & Management
- Lead and unite the Sustainable Development team. Promote a strong sustainability culture at all levels of the organization. Develop internal and external communication plans to accelerate change.
Pilotage & Transformation
- Oversee the execution of the CSR strategy with Kering’s operational and Sustainability teams.
- Facilitate the cross-functional Sustainable Development committee and ensure the buy-in of internal leaders.
- Identify the levers of transformation and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Your profile:
- 5 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent. Experience related to Boucheron’s areas of interest is an asset (e.g., responsible mining, D&I, supply chain management and traceability).
- Excellent understanding of sustainable development concepts, if possible related to the jewelry/extractive industry (e.g. UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, OECD Due Diligence Guidelines, Responsible Jewellery Council Standards).
- Experience in successfully leading projects involving significant change. Experience in project management, process definition and management, and leading cross-functional projects is preferred.
- Proactivity, versatility and integrity are valued, as well as well-developed interpersonal skills.
