About LCIC 2026

We are excited to invite you to join our 5th Life Cycle Innovation Conference in 2026, which will take place from July 1-3. Building on the success of our previous conferences, LCIC 2026 will offer a fantastic conference experience for those joining us in Berlin as well as those participating online by enabling virtual participants to contribute to the program through live-streamed interventions.

We are looking forward to creating yet again a unique space to think in creative and new ways about how to foster sustainability efforts around the world and link these to innovation processes. During LCIC 2026 we aim to promote a better world by taking a systems perspective to foster sustainable innovation.

Abstracts and workshop proposals can be submitted from November 25 to January 26 and we are super excited to receive your input to enable us to build a diverse program around your ideas and submissions! As with our previous conferences, LCIC 2026 will offer a great opportunity to present and discuss innovative approaches and methods to address sustainability challenges, but also showcase innovative products and services that will help us transition towards a more sustainable world!

We cannot wait to welcome again a truly diverse crowd of change-makers, innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, practitioners and decision-makers who share our passion for sustainability – physically and virtually! Anyone who has ever participated in one of our conferences knows that LCIC is highly focused on creating a unique atmosphere that fosters exchange, networking, and collaboration! In addition to our sessions and workshops, our barcamps offer a unique format to brainstorm new ideas, engage on innovative methods, products or services and discuss new ideas!

While other conferences in the life cycle space continue to grow, LCIC 2026 will remain focused on the proven concept of creating a curated experience for a manageable number of participants to allow us to put co-creation and collaboration front and center. As such, our conference is limited to around 250 physical participants, and thus we invite you to save all relevant dates now in your calendar so you don’t miss your chance to participate!
