The UNEP Life Cycle Initiative has launched the Global LCA Asset Review, an initial step towards developing a Global LCA Asset Inventory for a Global LCA Platform.

The review aims to identify existing LCA-related resources worldwide and examine their characteristics, relationships, interoperability
opportunities, and remaining gaps from a global LCA perspective. Relevant assets may include databases and datasets, data schemas and exchange formats, nomenclature systems, methods and guidance, QA and validation systems, software, platforms, repositories, and networks.

The form includes an LCA assets table. Please add one row for each asset you would like to suggest; multiple assets can therefore be
included in a single submission. We also welcome commercial, restricted, and non-open resources, provided that an official source
link or a file that you are authorised to share is available.
Our indicative timeline is:

16–31 July: Collection of questionnaire responses

August: Consolidation and review of the submitted assets and supporting materials:
– Late August–early September: Expert review and validation with UNEP WG2 members and volunteers
– September: Preparation of the Global LCA Asset Review Report
