The engineering firm Prof. Czurda und Partner mbH (ICP) is a leading medium-sized engineering office specializing in waste management, landfill technology, contaminated site remediation, and geotechnical engineering, headquartered in Karlsruhe.
Tasks
These are your tasks:
- Conducting feasibility studies
- Conducting due diligence reviews of facilities
- Assessment of the legal, socio-economic and environmental framework conditions of waste projects, from concept design to implementation.
- Tendering of projects, comparison of offers and conducting contract negotiations
- Construction supervision or organization of construction supervision during project implementation
- Development and elaboration of financing models
qualification
You bring the following:
- Degree in environmental engineering or a related field. Experience in waste management is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and fluent German and English skills are required. Additional qualifications are desirable for Germany, but mandatory internationally:
- Experience in the operation of waste disposal facilities
- Consulting experience in the field of waste management
- Consulting on sustainable resource management and circular economy
- Experience in projects with international financial institutions (e.g. KfW, GIZ, ADB etc.)
