The derivation of technology experience curves in order to include environmental performance indicators in early R&D decision trees enables a proactive way of dealing with environmental sustainability in design stages. This module will highlight how experience curves (learning and upscaling) can a) be derived over different production scales and b) be used for prospect sustainability assessment of new compounds using a certain technology.
