Agricultural Lifecycle Analysis – More Than Just The Carbon Footprint

This course will provide the science basis behind the methods developed to assess agricultural systems in LCA, together with practising the use of the various methods. Throughout the course, potentialities and limitations of the methods are going to be highlighted. This course will provide the basis for an LCA practitioner to carry out an exhaustive, scientifically sound and complete LCA of agricultural systems. The main focus will be on arable cropping, but animal production approaches will be included, especially lowland ruminant and monogastric systems.
