Dieuwertje Schrijvers works as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the ISM-Cyvi group at the University of Bordeaux. During her PhD studies she developed new procedures to model recycling in Life Cycle Assessment and applied them to different types of materials, among which rare earth elements.

Consequential LCA is often perceived as more complex than attributional LCA and only of interest for policy makers, which is not necessarily the case. The webinar will explain when a consequential LCA provides a more useful answer than an attributional LCA and how an attributional case study can be converted into a consequential study – using the same functional unit.
