LCIC 2026

We are excited to invite you to join our 5th Life Cycle Innovation Conference in 2026, which will take place from July 1-3. Building on the success of our previous conferences, LCIC 2026 will offer a fantastic conference experience for those joining us in Berlin as well as those participating online by enabling virtual participants to contribute to the program through live-streamed interventions.

We are looking forward to creating yet again a unique space to think in creative and new ways about how to foster sustainability efforts around the world and link these to innovation processes. During LCIC 2026 we aim to promote a better world by taking a systems perspective to foster sustainable innovation.

As with our previous conferences, LCIC 2026 will offer a great opportunity to present and discuss innovative approaches and methods to address sustainability challenges, but also showcase innovative products and services that will help us transition towards a more sustainable world!

We cannot wait to welcome again a truly diverse crowd of change-makers, innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, practitioners and decision-makers who share our passion for sustainability – physically and virtually! Anyone who has ever participated in one of our conferences knows that LCIC is highly focused on creating a unique atmosphere that fosters exchange, networking, and collaboration! In addition to our sessions and workshops, our barcamps offer a unique format to brainstorm new ideas, engage on innovative methods, products or services and discuss new ideas!

While other conferences in the life cycle space continue to grow, LCIC 2026 will remain focused on the proven concept of creating a curated experience for a manageable number of participants to allow us to put co-creation and collaboration front and center. As such, our conference is limited to around 200 physical participants!

Important note for Physical Ticket Purchases: Due to German VAT regulations for events hosted by non-profits, we are required to charge different VATs for the provision of the ticket and the provision of the drinks during the conference. As such, you will receive an invoice with two line items, one for the conference ticket with 7% VAT and one with 19% VAT for the provision of drinks. The cost for the provided drinks that will appear on the invoice is 60€, including 19% VAT. The drinks portion of the ticket is not optional and cannot be removed from the ticket purchase process. It is just separated for the purpose of assigning a different VAT rate. The overall conference price remains the same as outlined on our registration page and the separation into two line items takes place automatically during checkout when the ticket is added to the cart.
