    Martina Prox

    President of the Board of Directors of the FSLCI, partner at ifu Hamburg

    Her passion for LCA and Life Cycle Thinking started mid of the 1990s when she joined ifu – The Hamburg Institute for Environmental IT (www.ifu.com) as a student. Between 2005 and 2010 she worked part-time at the Centre for Sustainability Management at Leuphana University, broadening her knowledge in corporate sustainability management and extending her global network of dedicated sustainibility changemakers with a focus on Latin America. Today, she’s a partner at ifu responsible for strategy and collaboration. She also contributes as a German delegate to the development of international standards of the ISO 14 000 series including, ISO 14051, ISO/TS 14067, ISO/TS 14071, ISO/TS 14072 etc.

Event Details

LCA has originally been developed an used vor decades to assess the environmental impact of products and services. In the last years guidance and ISO documents have been developed to also apply LCA to organizations.

The Webinar will provide an overview of the existing guiding documents, reflect on experiences of conducting Organizational LCA (O-LCA) in industry and address the potential of using O-LCA to address the requirement of “Taking a Life Cycle Perspective”, when working with the latest version of the standard ISO 14001.
