— The following ideas were developed during the communications workshop on the 3rd of September in Bordeaux, France —

Events

Coordination around activity at events internationally is an area where we can harness the strength of our network

• Agenda/library of worldwide events on LC, environment, business > strategy of what we can do
• Share information on which FSLCI members are at what events > enable wider outreach, FSLCI members to network, communication opportunities
• Speaker list: Propose speakers from the LC community to speak at conferences, events, e.g. through a system of national ambassadors. Indicate who is good/available
• Target NON LC events for speaking opportunities (business/industry events, other sustainability communities)

New events to consider

TED Talks

• Organise a kind of TEDx event with concrete examples
• Prepare some TED Talks to target a wider community

Webinars

• Start up a webinar series open for everyone with a diversity of speakers
• Reach outside LC related conferences and meetings
• Subjects: methods to LCI, spread LCT, improve dialogue with data providers
