Dear *|FNAME|*,
We hope we find you well. Nearly a month has already passed since we’ve been present at LCM 2015 in Bordeaux. A lot has happened since then and we would like to inform you about exciting new cooperations and developments in today’s edition of our members’ newsletter.Kind regards,
Jim, Guido and PhilipUpcoming: FSLCI @ LCA XV in Vancouver
As part of our ongoing effort to reach out to the global life cycle community, we very much look forward to next week’s LCA XV conference in Vancouver, organized by our friends from the American Life Centre for Life Cycle Assessment (ACLCA). We’ll be present at the LCA XV with a little booth and Martina Prox, representing FSLCI, will moderate the Opening Plenary Panel Discussion on Tuesday morning.
In addition we’re organizing a small info-session Wednesday morning right before the official conference program starts from 7:30am – 8:15am.
The session is primarily meant to be an informative session to answer questions about and discuss the FSLCI. If you’re around or know colleagues that are attending, please let them know about this opportunity to learn more about us! While anyone can drop by spontaneously, we would appreciate if you would indicate your participation via the button below: Register Now! New Partnership with FICCI
We’re happy to be able to inform you that we’ve recently signed a new strategic partnership agreement with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and its India LCA Alliance. FICCI is the principle driver for Life Cycle Thinking in India and organizes the annual Indian Life Cycle Management Conference (ILCM). This year’s ILCM took place on the 14th and 15th of September and similar to the LCM 2015 we were present with a little booth. We would like to thank FICCI for the opportunity to present the FSLCI at the ILCM and look forward to work with FICCI on mainstreaming Life Cycle Thinking in India. In addition to our new partnership with FICCI, we’re in advanced discussions with other national networks with whom we hope to be able to sign similar partnership agreements soon!
New Forum for Project Ideas for the FSLCI
Based on the feedback from the past conferences, we’ve created a new Forum that is meant to collect ideas on what the FSLCI could or should be doing in going forward. It’s called the FSLCI Project Ideas Forum and is really meant to be filled with ideas by all of you. Tim Grant already posted a great idea for a student support program and we would like to invite you all not only to post ideas, but also to provide feedback on ideas that others have posted! A look back: FSLCI @ LCM 2015 in Bordeaux
LCM 2015 was a fantastic opportunity to meet many of you and discuss with you and many interested conference participants about us and what we want to do in going forward. We were really pleased with how everything came together and we would like to thank all of you who made LCM 2015 such a special experience for us.
