Jim, Guido and PhilipFSLCI Joins ISO TC 207 / SC5
Today we are very happy to be able to inform you that the FSLCI has recently been accepted to become a liaison member of ISO TC 207 SC5 – the committee that deals with everything related to life cycle standards. In line with standard ISO guidelines, we will soon set up a specific committee dedicated to our involvement in ISO processes. Besides getting access and updates on all relevant standard developments, as a liaison member we will have the ability to send experts into the committee to represent our global community!
In addition we are also happy to inform you that ISO has also joined our Board of Directors as the first organisational member. ISO is represented through the chair of the ISO TC 207 / SC5, Prof. Matthias Finkbeiner.
Public Member Directory
We are happy to inform you that we have now launched our public member directory! It is great to see that some of you have used this occasion to update their profiles with more info, profile pictures and made them public. This is really great and thus we hope that more of you will follow 🙂 As a small reminder, you can change your setting here if you want to make your profile public and or specify which fields on your profile you want to make visible for whom. New Non-Profit Membership Levels
Today we are happy to be able to inform you that our Board of Directors recently decided to introduce a new membership category that is focused on non-profit organisations. The membership category has been set-up especially with research groups in mind, but is open to all non-profit organisations. Non-profit memberships are available in three different levels, which only differ by the number of included personal accounts. Review our new memberships for non-profits here. If you are interested in converting your personal membership into an organisational one, please get in touch with us 🙂 Research Group Directory
We are happy to announce that we have developed a directory for research groups/institutes. We would like to invite any research group to submit their information to be listed in the directory. The core idea is to provide students and researches with a better overview, who is actually doing research and or teaching life cycle methodologies. Much like with our members directory, our directory for research groups is build around a geographical map which lists all groups that have submitted their data. Student Survey
A group of engaged students from Leuphana University Lüneburg is currently undertaking a project to develop better ways for the FSLCI to connect with students and academics around the world. To this end they have recently launched a small survey and we would like to encourage our academic and student members to take five minutes to respond. Thank you very much! Respond to survey!
