The development of sustainable products and processes will continue to play an increasingly important role in the medical device industry. Therefore, we are specifically seeking dedicated interns (m/f/d) with a background in sustainability technologies to support our development team for a period of 6 months, particularly for the life-cycle assessment of our product range.

Tasks:
- Research on the materials and processes used in the manufacture of medical devices and their impact on the environment
- Communication with external suppliers
- Analysis and creation of life cycle assessments according to ISO 14040
- Collaboration in the creation, visualization and modeling of LCA results using Sphera (GaBi) software in close coordination with the responsible development department.
- Description of all necessary calculations and process steps leading to the final LCA result.
- Creation of PowerPoint slides for the results presentation
- You share your data with our marketing department to create customer information.
Skills:
- We welcome applications from students with a technical or scientific background specializing in sustainability, ideally with a connection to the following or related fields: Sustainability Management, Sustainable Engineering, Textile Technology, Materials Science
- Interest in a broad range of tasks in direct collaboration with the development team
- Self-organization and independent work
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of relevant LCA software is an advantage.
- Good German and English skills are required; French skills are an advantage.
