Short Description

The NEPTUNUS project aims to achieve sustainable development of the seafood sector in the Atlantic Sea by providing a consistent methodology for eco-labelling of products and defining eco-innovation strategies for production and consumption under a circular economy approach that adds value and crosses the seafood-water-energy domains. The project provides key actions for resource efficiency, including life cycle thinking.

NEPTUNUS is a consortium made up of 11 experienced players from 5 different European Atlantic Area States and is co-funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the umbrella of INTERREG Atlantic Area.
