We are happy to share with you that Guy Castelan and Melissa Díaz Segura were recently elected into our Board of Directors alongside Marzia Traverso and Avantika Shastri who were re-elected. The election took place during our recent General Assembly, which was organized virtually on the 5th of October. In this context we would like to thank again all outgoing Board members for their dedication and work over the past years to help the FSLCI grow!
During today’s first meeting of the new Board of Directors, Marzia Traverso was also re-appointed as the President of our Board of Directors. She will be supported by Melissa Diaz, who was appointed as Vice-President!
We are also pleased to welcome NORSUS as our latest organizational member. The vision of NORSUS, the Norwegian Institute for Sustainability Research (formerly Ostfold Research), is to provide knowledge for sustainable societal development. NORSUS applies and develops knowledge and methods to understand and implement sustainable solutions in society.
Since last year we have been involved in a project run by NORSUS called PacKnoPlast. The project recently published a project report on plastic packaging loss mapping, which you can access here.
