In 2018, the CIRP Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) conference returns to Copenhagen (Denmark), 25 years after the LCE conference series was initiated by Professor Leo Alting and hosted by the Technical University of Denmark in 1993.
The conference under the overarching theme “Advancing Life Cycle Engineering to meet United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals” will take place from 30 April – 2 May 2018 in Copenhagen.
The abstract submission deadline is the 1st of August. Scientific topics for abstract submission include the following areas:
- Sustainable manufacturing – efficiency and effectiveness
- Circular economy
- Life cycle management
- Sustainable consumption and production
- Life cycle engineering education and training
- Analysis
- Synthesis
- Absolute sustainability assessment
