Webinar Presenter & Description

Asanka Wittachy
Executive Director @ AmPark Foundation
As the effects of the climate crisis intensify, the urgency for decisive global action has never been greater. While many nations aspire to transition towards sustainable consumption patterns and economic practices, they often face significant barriers in methodology and resource availability. The Dynamic Climate Resilience & Adaptation Model (DCRAM) is envisioned as a scalable, low-cost, and synergistic solution—a national pilot program to address diverse climate change impacts comprehensively.
The AmPark Foundation aims to collaborate with global experts, projects, and organizations across various disciplines to design and implement best-practice adaptation and mitigation strategies.
The pilot implementation of DCRAM in Sri Lanka will serve as a cornerstone for learning, with extensive documentation to develop an open-source roadmap and implementation blueprint. This resource is intended to guide adaptation efforts in other tropical belt countries.
The webinar introduced the DCRAM as a way to encourage the LCA community to join this collective mission to drive transformative change and contribute meaningfully to global climate resilience.
