      Why:

The better the teaching material, the more interesting it gets for students to study the field and pursue a career in it. However, creating high quality teaching material is a time consuming undertaking, hence professors often reuse material that they’ve once developed and might become outdated over time. Providing professors with a broad range of material that they could use to enhance their existing material would help to enhance the quality of available teaching material as well as its diversity.

      How:

We plan to develop a mechanism whereby we would create a library of teaching material for professors to which they would only get access, if they also were to share their own material. This way we would ensure that the library is continuously filled with new and different material and at the same time limit its access to professors, so that the material would not be repurposed for commercial activities.
