Today we are happy to invite you to submit an abstract for the 10th International Conference of Life Cycle Assessment in Latin America (CILCA). CILCA is a conference that takes place every two years in different Latin American countries bringing together experts and stakeholders on Life Cycle Analysis from all over the world.

This year CILCA is organized by the RED ACV Chile, the RICV and the Universidad Andres Bello. The conference will take place in Viña del Mar, Chile from July 24 – 28 under the theme Solutions to regional challenges, supporting global sustainability trends with a life-cycle approach.

We invite you to submit your abstract until the 7th of March and join us this year in Viña del Mar for a highly insightful conference. CILCA offers a great opportunity to share ideas and experiences related to the application and promotion of LCA, especially in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. The conference usually brings together a broad range of practitioners of life cycle thinking from universities, research centers, non-governmental organizations, government representatives as well as business and industry stakeholders.

CILCA draws on a long history of successful conferences with the first conference held in 2005 in San José, Costa Rica. Following the first iteration, the conference took place in Sao Paulo (Brazil) in 2007, Pucón (Chile) in 2009, Coatzacoalcos (Mexico) in 2011, Mendoza (Argentina) in 2013, Lima (Peru) in 2015, Medellín (Colombia) in 2017, Cartago (Costa Rica) in 2019 and the last one in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 2021.

Submit your abstract now and join us at the end of July in Chile!
