We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to announce today that the courthouse has finally registered the FSLCI in Germany. We’re now officially existing according to German law and are permitted to use e.V. along with our name, which signifies that we’re officially registered (e.V. stands for ‘eingetragener Verein’ = registered association).
The next step will be to get charity status. We’ve already handed in all relevant documents to the financial authorities, which however will also take quite a while to process our application. That said, since the charter was already reviewed by the financial authorities before we actually registered the association with the courthouse, we expect no issues in being awarded with the charity status soon.
