Today we invite you to join this year’s Life Cycle Summer School, which will focus on the theme “Net Zero Carbon Challenges for Cities and Regions – Using life cycle approaches for sustainable solutions”. The Summer School will be organized from 19.-22. September 2024 in Berlin.
This Summer School is an opportunity for students, professionals and regional managers to learn how life cycle approaches and methodologies can help assess the sustainability of zero carbon solutions in general and emission reduction proposals in particular, with a strong application to cities and regions.
The objective is to encourage use of promising LCM tools by stakeholders who have not so far employed these techniques extensively. This includes students, regional institutions, research teams and industrial associations that wish to enhance the effectiveness of their sustainability initiatives. LCSS 2024 is also aimed at young life cycle professionals and academics interested in broadening their knowledge on applying life cycle thinking to net zero initiatives.
For students from Non-OECD countries we offer stipends thanks to the Jim Fava Life Cycle Summer School Fund. We are invite you to submit your applications now for our Life Cycle Summer School and learn more about our program. Apply for LCSS 2024 now here.
