You are invited to participate in a short survey in the context of the European CALIMERO project, whose goal is to create a common framework for the Life Cycle Assessment methodologies of certain bio-based industries’ sectors.
The survey is aiming to identify the most relevant categories of stakeholders (i.e., those most affected – positively or negatively – by the supply chain’s activities) and sub-categories (i.e., the aspects affecting the different stakeholder categories) for their bio-based supply chains. The survey assessment will help understand the potential positive and negative social impact hotspots related to different bio-based product supply chains. The survey can be accessed here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Calimero
This survey focuses on social aspects related to the life cycle of bio-based processes. Bio-based processes use biologically sourced materials (e.g., vegetable oils or fibres) as inputs. The project follows the methodology for Social Life Cycle Assessment as defined by the UNEP (2020). A short explanatory video (8 minutes) on S-LCA that can be accessed below:
The project managers are seeking answers from as many participants as possible, representing the
whole supply chain (from raw materials to end-of-life activities). The results of this survey will be accessible through the CALIMERO project reports.
