Introduction to HiQLCD – The new Chinese Life Cycle Database

The webinar introduced China’s first independent, high-quality Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) database (HiQLCD). The database provides detailed and localized data for LCA to improve sustainability assessments for Chinese products and supply chains. Developed by a team of LCA experts, it uses AI to offer over 20,000 datasets for 31 provinces, covering various sectors like energy, materials, and waste treatment, and is compatible with global standards and tools like openLCA. The webinar was presented by Johnson Gui, the founder and CEO of HiQLCD.
