Social LCA: An introduction

Social-LCA or S-LCA is a relatively new technique to evaluate positive and negative social impacts of a product along its life cycle. The webinar will introduce the status of S-LCA developments and the UNEP/SETAC S-LCA methodology for beginners. 

Sonia Valdivia is co-chair of the capacity building area of the UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Initiative and currently coordinating the Roundtable on Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) of the World Resources Forum. Before, Sonia worked as Programme Officer at the UNEP Division of Technology, Industry and Economics and was responsible for coordinating the Secretariat of the UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Initiative. She is a co-author of the UNEP/SETAC “Guidelines for Social Life Cycle Assessment” and co-founder of the Social-LCA-Alliance.
