The last conference of this year brought us at the end of November to Australia. In Melbourne, our friends from the Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society (ALCAS) organized a full week of conferences around life cycle topics. After the first two days which focussed on LCA in the food sector, Wednesday was all about Life Cycle Management. Here, our Board Member Jodie Bricout gave a presentation on the link between LCA and the Circular Economy, while our CFOO, Philip Strothmann, gave a keynote on the FSLCI and a presentation on the need to enhance communication and collaboration within the Life Cycle Community. We were also present with a little booth, which was well received, or to put it with Jodie’s words: “The FSLCI was omnipresent”. As a result, we were able to welcome a few new members and project partners. We would like to thank ALCAS for their support and look forward to continue working with them in going forward.
