This year’s General Assembly of the FSLCI was organized as part of our LCIC 2018 conference last week on the 30th of August in Berlin, Germany. A number of FSLCI members who participated at the conference joined the General Assembly in person, with others joining online. Present members decided to extend the Board of Directors by 5 seats, thus agreed on a total of 11 seats for the 2018 / 2019 period. FSLCI Board Members serve a two year term, thus 3 out of the 9 previous Board members were up for reelection.
In total, 8 members of the FSLCI had put forward their candidacy and we would like to thank all of them for their interest in helping guide the FSLCI into the future. During the election, the previous Board members Bill Flanagan, Pia Wiche and Yuki Kabe were reelected. In addition, Avantika Shastri and Marzia Traverso will be joining our new Board of Directors.
We are looking forward to working together with the new Board of Directors!
