Today we are excited to let you know that our Life Cycle Summer School will be organized again in 2023. This year’s edition will focus on the theme “Regional Life Cycle Management for the Transition to a Sustainable Future – Addressing the Nexus between Materials, Energy and Buildings”. The Summer School will be organized from 01. – 04. September 2023 in Loos-en-Gohelle, France. The Summer School will thus take place right ahead of LCM 2023 in Lille!

This Summer School is an opportunity for professionals and regional managers to learn how to extend evolving life cycle management tools into new application areas in sustainable development – in this instance in the context of developing a deeper understanding of how life cycle methodologies can facilitate the adoption of sustainable resource management strategies, support the transition to a renewable energy-based infrastructure, and help reduce the impact of the building and construction sector.

The objective is to encourage use of promising LCM tools by stakeholders who have not so far employed these techniques extensively. This includes regional institutions, research teams and industrial associations that wish to enhance the effectiveness of their sustainability initiatives. LCSS 2023 is also aimed at young life cycle professionals and academics interested in broadening their client base by offering new applications.

We are now accepting applications for our Life Cycle Summer School and invite you to learn more about our program and apply for it here.
