We are excited to announce the launch of a new survey conducted by our Working Group on Higher Education in LCA. The survey aims to explore what skills and competencies employers expect from new hires working in the field of Life Cycle Assessment.

Given the increasing demand for life cycle expertise around the world, ensuring that LCA graduates are well-prepared to meet real-world demands has never been more important. Your input will help us identify gaps between current LCA teaching and industry needs – and ultimately enable us to provide educators with guidance on how to enhance their LCA training.

By sharing your perspective, you will directly contribute to shaping future LCA curricula and training programs. The results will support the design of better, more relevant education and professional development initiatives across the life cycle community.

We plan to present initial insights from the survey at the forthcoming Life Cycle Management Conference (LCM 2025), taking place from September 8–12 in Palermo, Italy and hence we would appreciate feedback beforehand!
