Our friends from the Social LCA Alliance and the Life Cycle Initiative recently released a new version of the Guidelines for Social Life Cycle Assessment of Products and Organizations 2020. The Guidelines explain the strengths and challenges of different S-LCA approaches to solve multiple questions.
The guidelines are a revised version of the first edition, which was published in 2009. Since then the practice of social life cycle assessment (S-LCA) has evolved from a small circle of academic practitioners to one that now includes stakeholders from industry, policy makers, and business.
The new version of the Guidelines are a great source of knowledge for S-LCA beginners as well as experts and can be downloaded here.
