Our LCIC conference is meant to bring together a broad range of interested participants from all over the world. Please find below the registration fees to participate in our conference, either by joining us physically in Berlin, Germany, or by participating remotely from all over the world. All prices include German VAT.
Physical Conference Ticket Participation Fees
Join us first as a member and you’ll get the first year of membership effectively for free!
Buy at least 3 tickets together and you get a 10% discount automatically on all tickets (not applicable to member tickets)!

- Excluding PhD Students who are employed in full capacity and conducting the PhD as a part-time activity | Non-OECD rates can only be selected if the place of residency is in a Non-OECD country!
- FSLCI Student and Non-OECD members get an additional rebate equal to their respective 1st year membership fee (for MIC/LIC Student rebates please request a rebate coupon via lc**@***ci.org).
- For ILCAJ members the rebate is only available on Standard and Late Fees. Please get in touch with lc**@***ci.org to get a coupon to claim your rebate.
Important note: Due to German VAT regulations for events hosted by non-profits, we are required to charge different VATs for the provision of the ticket and the provision of the drinks during the conference. As such, you will receive an invoice with two line items, one for the conference ticket with 7% VAT and one with 19% VAT for the provision of drinks. The cost for the provided drinks that will appear on the invoice is 60€ including 19% VAT. The drinks portion of the ticket is not optional and cannot be removed from the ticket purchase process. It is just separated for the purpose of assigning a different VAT rate. The overall conference price remains the same as outlined above and the separation into two line items takes place automatically during checkout when the ticket is added to the cart.

The virtual conference participation fees are 50% off the physical conference participation fees!

Terms for Cancellations or Ticket Changes:
Cancellation:
- 75% of the ticket price is going to be refunded until 01.05., afterwards no refund will be offered.
Change from a Physical to a Virtual Ticket
- The ticket can be changed to a virtual ticket and a refund of the price difference between the physical ticket price paid and the virtual ticket price applicable at the time of the requested change is provided minus a 50€ processing fee. Tickets cannot be changed after the 15th of June.
Change from a Virtual to a Physical Ticket
- The ticket can be changed to a physical ticket and the price difference between virtual ticket price paid and the price of the physical ticket applicable at the time of the requested change is going to be charged. Tickets can only be changed until the 15th of June.
